Dear Cadets,
Good job and good effort for today's National First Aid Competition! :) It was nice to see that all of you tried and put in your best for the competition. Although we get the top 3 for West District First Aid Competition 2010, but do always remember the time we spent together to train as a unit and also, the fun times we had during our training. ^^
It is okay to be sad and disappointed today because we had high hopes for ourselves, but I hope all of you will recover soon and become stronger and more determine in everything you do. Take this competition as a good learning experience for all and please do not be sad because you did something wrong during the competition. It is too late for regrets as it wouldn't do anything anymore but I would rather you move on and learn from it; than to ponder and stuck in the past. It's okay to make mistakes but do always learn from your mistakes and improve yourself to become better! If we are perfectionist, we wouldn't be human anymore, would we?
As all of you had heard earlier in the afternoon, there would be another First Aid Competition on March 2011. So, lets all learn from this competition and work harder for the next First Aid Competition. JIAYOU UNITY RED CROSS YOUTH! WE ARE NOT WEAK! WE DO FALL BUT WE WILL LEARN TO STAND TALL!
Next, even though the result for today's competition wasn't something that we wish for, I would like to thank our Unity Red Cross Youth Teachers-Incharge, Mdm Mages and Ms Ong for their consistent support and help throughout the entire First Aid Competition preparation, as well as our VI, Xingyuan Sir, for teaching our Outdoor Activity and Evacuation teams their Outdoor Activity and Evacuation skills and helping the entire Unit to prepare for the First Aid Competition. Also, not forgetting our graduated seniors Zach Sir and Buvan Ma'am, for their encouragements as well as accompanying the whole Unit throughout the preparation with their optimistic personalities. Plus, everyone who had helped with our training process and all the teachers in school who had tried to understand the situation. ^^
Lastly, thanks to all Unity Red Cross Youth cadets who had participated, for your support and cooperation that allow us to be able to participate in this competition! I am very proud of all of you and I am glad to be your senior. ^^
Now that First Aid Competition 2010 had ended, I would like all of you to concentrate on your studies. All the best for your End-of-Year Examination! Study hard and make those around you proud of you okay!? JIAYOU!
With that, I shall end my post! ^^
Best Regards,
Lee Shi Rui
